Attention campus community! Especially for you, in preparation for the first edition of the Half Marathon Groningen, powered by Campus Groningen on Sunday, May 25th, we are organizing free running clinics. Want to prepare optimally? Seize this unique opportunity to train with Bram Buigel, top athlete from Groningen, Dutch Champion in the 800 meters in 2023! He also studied at Zernike Campus and knows the campus well. Bram will be joined by Nik Lemmink, winner of the Groningen 4 Mile in 2024, for these clinics.
During our special Half Marathon Clinics, Bram and Nik will share everything about their expertise and help you become stronger, faster, and better prepared for the race. The clinics are open to everyone participating on May 25, whether you're running 21 km, 10 km, 5 km, or 2.5 km.

The Campus Trail at Campus Groningen is once again generating a lot of enthusiasm. So far, 500 participants have already registered for the seventh edition of the running event, which will take place on Friday, September 11.
It all started fourteen years ago with an idea in a laboratory on the Zernike Campus in Groningen. The financing has now been secured, and BioBTX can build a factory in Delfzijl.
UMCG is continuing the development of the new Central Laboratory for Diagnostics and Research (CLDR). Over the coming period, the preliminary design will be further developed into a final design, bringing the realization of the new laboratory building another step closer.
